Podhale tulips are an element of the parzenica ornament from the highlander folk costume. Parzenice will appear in folk costumes of the highlanders: Babia Góra, Orava, Podhale, Gorce, Pieniny and Spiš. Parzenica is one of the most recognizable and ornamental embroidery patterns in Poland. Most associated with embroidery of highlander pants. Our pattern is an interpretation of an embroidery from the collection of the Tatra Mountains Museum. Dr Tytus Chałubiński in Zakopane.
